Village of Thornville Council is looking for a qualified resident to serve the remainder of an unexpired Council position. The term will conclude December 31 , 2025. The Village Council meets on the first Monday for Committee meetings and the fourth Monday for Council meetings each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Village Office with other scheduled meetings possible. Members of the Council are compensated $1,000 annually.
Qualifications (ORC 731.12):
- Must be a qualified elector of the Village of Thornville.
- Must have been a resident in the Village of Thornville for not less than one year.
- Cannot hold any other public office, be interested in any contract with the Village, or hold any compensated employment with the Village.
